Our story started at a golf club in Atlanta, GA and began with casual conversations which blossomed into a beautiful journey.
Jacob, mustered the courage, to ask Ashley on a date, and from there our story unfolded that led to countless dates, shared laughter, adventurous travels, love for one another, and friendship for life.
As time continued, our bond strengthened, culminating in a milestone on September 12, 2022, when we were engaged in Chicago, Illinois.

Hi everyone! My name is Ashley! I was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Stone Mountain, GA with my parents Nadia and Terrence and my brothers Sean and David.I graduated with a degree in Biological Sciences from Georgia State University and I am currently pursuing my doctorate at the Dental College of Georgia to become a dentist.
In my free time I love to travel, spend time with my fiance, family and friends and shop. I met the love of my life when I was working at a golf club in Atlanta and the chemistry and spark that we had from day one was undeniable. We have experienced the world together and plan to continue to do so as we grow as people and grow our family.

I’m Jacob Smith, born and raised in the Atlanta metropolitan area. I grew up as the only child of my parents, Wanda and Darryl. Both of my parents come from large families, each with twelve siblings, all originally from Atlanta's Westside neighborhoods. My maternal grandparents moved to Atlanta during the Great Migration from Americus, Georgia, in the early 1900s. Faith has always been central to our family, and both sides of my grandparents attended the same church. It's in that church where I first developed a love for music and fellowship, values that have shaped my life deeply.
I grew up in Stone Mountain, Georgia, with a passion for music that led to a scholarship at Clark Atlanta. After transferring, I graduated from Georgia State in 2018 with a bachelor’s in Computer Information Systems. A software development internship launched my career in application development. Currently I am finishing my master’s at Boston University and planning to pursue an MBA.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my amazing fiancée, Ashley, and have a range of interests, including community planning, economics, history, basketball, and music.
As for how I met my soulmate, Ashley and I first crossed paths during a summer job at a golf club in the Atlanta area while I was still a student at Georgia State. From that moment, our connection has been undeniable, and my idea of our love is one of deep companionship—two souls predestined to meet and grow together.
